SUNRISE RETREAT

Yellowstone Club | Big Sky, Montana

Photography  |  Karl Neumann

The goal of The Sunrise Retreat project was to give the overall palette and furnishings a facelift.  We achieved this through using lighter finishes and materials to brighten the space. In the beginning, I called this project ‘Fifty Shades of Brown’, as it was monotone. Literally, everything was brown and removing what brown elements we could was the start. The clients wanted to incorporate pops of color, which we enjoyed introducing through art, wall coverings, textiles, lamps and accessories. We completed this project in 3 months, meeting briefly with the client in April, and executed remodel for their July 4th visit.
